SUBSTANCE: invention relates to providing translation of published materials into various languages. Device for providing information includes a unit for storing documents, a recording unit, a unit for a codes image release and a control unit. Device is intended for storage of a document published in a certain place of publication and corresponding electronic files of the document translation into other languages together with the same identification information and for recording the place of the document publication. Device releases the codes image for identification of the electronic file associated with the identification information, receives from the user terminal device, which addresses for access to the electronic file, encoded character data indicating the language specified in the terminal user device and transmits the translation electronic file translated to the said language to the user device together with the information, which indicates the document publication place.
EFFECT: technical result is faster operation, improved accuracy and reliability of the document text translation.
