SUBSTANCE: face recognition method comprises: detecting a face region in the image; detecting reference anthropometric face points; forming a coordinate array of the reference points that describe the important points on the face; holding face image alignment by converting the starting position in the severe fullface; converting the face image with the use of the neuron network into the support vector map; at the face identification, a sequence pairwise comparison of the support vector maps of the desired image is carried out with images from the database to determine the distance between the maps of the vectors; faces, that have obtained a distance of less than the predetermined threshold, are considered identical. The face image alignment is performed as follows: at the first stage, the face image alignment is carried out on the plane, at the second stage - the face image alignment is in the space, the final alignment stage is to turn the face in the space into a severe fullface - affine transformation to the built 3D-model of the face.
EFFECT: improving accuracy of the face recognition.
