SUBSTANCE: invention refers to test and measurement equipment and can be used for accounting and control of water and other fluids consumption. The instantaneous values of induction motor stator current and voltage are measured, three-phase currents and voltages are converted to the two-phase components of currents and voltages, estimated stator current components are determined, the difference between the estimated values of stator current components and the current values of stator current components is calculated, the estimated value of the rotor flux linkage components are determined, the electromagnetic torque of the induction motor is determined based on the estimated values of stator current and flux linkage components, the loading torque of the centrifugal pump is determined based on the estimated values of rotor flux linkage components and the differences between the estimated values of stator current components and the current values of stator current components, the current angular rotation speed of the centrifugal pump operating wheel is determined based on the values of the induction motor electromagnetic torque and centrifugal pump loading torque. The hydraulic capacity of pump is determined. The actual flow rate of the pumping unit is determined based on the values of hydraulic power and rotor speed.
EFFECT: invention provides improved the accuracy of fluid flow rate determination for centrifugal pumps with asynchronous motors.
