SUBSTANCE: invention relates to geophysics and can be used for determining parameters of elastic anisotropy for geological underground formation. Method and device for calculation of anisotropic parameter of petrophysical model for geological underground formation. According to present disclosure, volume fraction of dry clay minerals is determined in geological formation. Besides, total porosity of geological underground formation is determined. Value of anisotropic parameter is determined, using volume fraction of dry clay minerals, total porosity and constants derived empirically. Obtained as result parameters of anisotropy can be used in petrophysical models, where, for example, calculated values of parameters of anisotropy cannot be obtained from other sources.
EFFECT: technical result is increased accuracy and reliability of obtained data.
