SUBSTANCE: in compliance with one implementation of invention the method for differentiation between acoustic anisotropy induced with natural fractures and stresses involves the stages at which: data is recorded in the form of picture, and acoustic data is recorded, which is related to well bore, acoustic data is used for estimation at least of one compression modulus and two shear moduli, and direction of dipole fast transverse wave, data is used in the form of picture for identification of type and orientation of fractures; diagrams operating for calculation of azimuth of fast transverse wave and difference of slownesses between fast and slow transverse waves, which is determined with geological fractures; and diagrams functioning for identification of depth zones with elastic medium under influence of at least one open natural fractures, closed natural fractures and effect of unequal main stresses. According to the other implementation of invention, device for differentiation between acoustic anisotropy induced with fractures and stresses includes the following: diagrams functioning for acoustic data to be used for estimation at least of one compression modulus and two shear moduli, and direction of dipole fast transverse wave; diagrams operating for the data to be used in the form of picture for identification of type and orientation of fractures; diagrams functioning for calculation of azimuth of fast transverse wave and difference of slownesses between fast and slow transverse waves, which is determined with geological fractures; and diagrams functioning for identification of depth zones with elastic medium under influence of at least one open natural fracture, closed natural fractures and effect of unequal main stresses.
