SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an orally acceptable, water-insoluble film, which does not disintegrate in absence of cleaning and disintegrates when cleaning in presence of water, including a polymer matrix, released material, a softener included therein, where polymer material includes at least 50 % poly(vinyl alcohol) and 50 % or less of water-soluble cellulose ester, where released material is a pigment or a combination of pigments; as well as to an agent for teeth cleaning, including particles of an orally acceptable film, where during application in oral cavity and cleaning film disintegrates and releases a released material after at least 30 s and not more than approximately 180 s.
EFFECT: disclosed are ground films to be used for oral hygiene.
