FIELD: cosmetic industry.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the cosmetic industry and is a composition for oral hygiene, containing: flakes of a water-soluble monolayer film containing film-forming polymers in the form of a single-layer polymer matrix containing hydroxyalkyl cellulose and polyvinyl acetate, pigment and orally acceptable carrier; wherein the composition contains from 20 to 32 % water and from 25 % to 50 % glycerol. Invention also provides a method of cleaning teeth, including cleaning with said composition, characterised in that cleaning with a toothbrush continues until the film releases the entire pigment, thereby giving the user a colour signal for proper cleaning time.
EFFECT: group of inventions ensures the stability of the claimed oral hygiene composition, so that the pigment does not migrate or leak from the film into the carrier during storage.
