SUBSTANCE: invention refers to experimental biology and medicine and provides a method of fluorescent histological detection of amyloid comprising fixation of organ tissue slices in 10% formaldehyde, staining by a fluorescent dye, water washing, dehydration, sealing into transparent non-fluorescent media, microscopy by means of a fluorescence microscope, using 4-N-aryl-3,5-dioxo-1-formyl-10-oxa-4-azatricyclo [5.2.11.7.02.6] Dec-8-enes formula where Y = 2-NO23-NO24-NO23-COOH 4-COOH derivatives as fluorescent dye, and dyeing is carried out by 1.5% alcoholic dye solution, mixed with 1% aqueous sodium hydroxide with a ratio of 1: 1.
EFFECT: invention provides increased information content due to the increased contrast of surface relief, and contributes to greater safety of histological sections.
