FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to particles of magnesium oxide, polymer composition, rubber composition and moulded article. Average size of magnesium oxide particles according to invention is not more than 5 mcm, their BET specific surface area is 143–200 m2/g. Residue after sifting particles on a sieve with hole size 45 mcm is not more than 0.1 wt%.
EFFECT: production of magnesium oxide particles, which have good dispersion capacity in a polymer or rubber, can operate in sufficiently as acid acceptor or inhibitor of premature polymerisation, without degradation, even after merging with polymer or rubber, of properties of corresponding materials.
