FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: methods and equipment for production of low-aromatic high-octane product flows are claimed. The method involves as follows: isomerisation of raw feedstock comprising C6-cyclic compounds; the resulting flow is split into a heavy flow of C4 and higher hydrocarbons and a flow of C3 and low-boiling hydrocarbons; removal of isohexane or isoheptane from the said heavy flow resulting in a headflow comprising light gas product and butane, top side cut comprising n-pentane, methylbutane and dimethylbutane, bottom side cut comprising n-hexane and monomethylpentane, and a cycloalkane-rich flow; equilibrium isomerisation of the said cycloalkane-rich flow, resulting in formation of cyclopentane against cyclohexane; as a result, low aromatic high-octane product flows are achieved.
EFFECT: processing of distillation bottoms from isohexane or isoheptane stripping columns to increase metilcyclopentane/cyclohexane ratio avoiding increase of aromatics concentration.
