FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: parking space for vehicles on the roadside area with grass, limited by a curb from the roadway (street), consists of an entrance unit for parking, several parking platforms located above the grass, a device for vehicles orientation to the parking position, and includes (contains) independently arriving vehicles for parking. The parking is provided with parking platforms, that are installed on a roadside area divided by its stripe from the curb, stripe width is not less than the vehicle length, and where is the device for vehicles orientation to the parking position is located with a possibility to move along it and to adjoin it at parking from the entrance, both with parking platforms, and a common entrance device for parking. A method for vehicle parking at a parking lot on the roadside area with grass covering is described as well.
EFFECT: provision of mass parking and vehicle storage in an intra-residential territory with creation of a free green zone with width not less than the vehicle length along the roads (streets), and parking from one entrance space without application of a complex energy-consuming handling agent at improved conditions of snow cleaning from the road in winter.
