SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agricultural machinery industry. The chopper of the grain combine harvester comprises a housing with straw shakers attached to it, behind which a rod guide is mounted. Under the rod guide a cross beam with supports is located, in which the shaft is mounted. On the shaft under each straw shaker the discs are fixed, equipped with chopping segments on both sides. The discs with the shear segments are attached to the supports, forming a cutting pair with chopping segments of the rotating disc.

EFFECT: device provides high quality of chopping with low energy consumption.
