SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of displaying icons on a desktop. The method includes monitoring an event which is performed with respect to an icon and controls the displayed icon; and if an event which controls the displayed icon is monitored, determining animation display parameters in accordance with properties of the icon; and controlling the displayed icon for animated display thereof in accordance with animation display parameters.
EFFECT: invention provides image adaptation depending on icon properties.
