SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method and a device for local generation of wallpaper on a computer. In the method, at least one first wallpaper of a wallpaper stream is generated on the computer, using a deep generative neural network, wherein the deep generative neural network is trained on a collection of high-quality images/videos and pre-loaded to the computer, and at least one first wallpaper is installed on the computer as wallpaper of this computer. At the same time, the method additionally contains a stage, at which current positions and colors of icons and widgets on a device screen are determined, and determined current positions and colors of icons and widgets are used as additional parameters of the deep generative neural network, when generating wallpaper.

EFFECT: generation of wallpaper taking into account current displayed data of the device.
