FIELD: transportation.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to supply of power to auxiliary equipment of vehicles. The conversion system for auxiliary power supply of the electric locomotive comprises a protection unit, a static converter and a power supply distribution line, to which inputs of n converters of electric locomotive auxiliary power are connected. The input of the protection unit is the input of the conversion system from the contact system. The static converter is connected to the output of the protection unit. At the same time the static converter, n converters of auxiliary power and the unit of communication with a microprocessor control and diagnostics system are connected to each other by a code communication line. The static converter comprises a voltage inverter, the output of which is connected to the primary winding of the transformer. The transformer has three output windings, each connected to its thyristor rectifier. Channels of excitation windings of traction electric motors are connected to the output of two thyristor rectifiers. An LC-filter for auxiliary power is connected to the output of the third thyristor rectifier.

EFFECT: increased frequency of conversion and efficiency and extended functional capabilities of a conversion system.
