SUBSTANCE: method comprises immersion of the tool or its part, made of a less corrosion-resistant metal, into a container with electrically insulating fluid with density at least 1.5-2 times greater than the sea water density and not miscible with the sea water, during tool transportation and storage in sea water.
EFFECT: invention can be used for repeated tool protection in sea water while maintaining its operating characteristics, and can effectively protect the tool from contact and electrochemical corrosion in sea water.
