SUBSTANCE: invention refers to measuring equipment and can be used, in particular, for measurement of aerosol particles characteristics in biphasic media using an optical method, in chemical technology, colloid chemistry, nozzle fluid dispersion technology, for environmental pollution control and in other technical industries. A laser pointer is installed on the console coaxially with the radiation receiver, pointer radiation is directed from the measuring volume to the measuring scale. The measuring scale extends from the measuring volume center at a distance determined by the inequality , and the scattering angle is calculated by the formula where l1 is laser pointer beam displacement on the measuring scale if the console is turned by an angleθ, mm; l2 is distance between the measuring volume center and the measuring scale, mm; Δl1 is deviation of l1 measurement on the measuring scale, mm.

EFFECT: invention provides improved accuracy for which the radiation detector is located on the console, the axis of which is aligned with the measuring volume center.
