FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: area of use: the invention relates to the protection of the electric lines from accidents, namely to the automatic compensation of capacitive earth fault currents of 6-10 kV with neutral earthed through an adjustable arc suppression reactor, as well as in networks with combined neutral grounding with the same arc suppression reactor. The invention can be used to automatically adjust the arc suppression reactor inductance by phase method in response to the capacity of the distribution network and for natural network asymmetry compensation in the normal network operation. Substance of the invention: the method allows to compensate the natural network asymmetry by its controlled reducing to the value, at which the neutral displacement voltage is within the values permitted with the disconnected source of artificial neutral displacement. For the natural network asymmetry compensation, the adjustable phase current (or the total of two-phase current) of the three-phase AC network with voltage of 380 V 50 Hz used for their own needs, is used. The neutral displacement voltage is changed with the disconnected source of the artificial neutral displacement by the introduction of the reactor through the control winding to the zero-sequence phase current circuit adjustable in phase and amplitude. Values 3Uo are controlled on the signal winding of the reactor.
EFFECT: creating a universal device that allows to perform the natural network asymmetry compensation in a wide range of variations; the possibility of actual current regulating of the natural network asymmetry without disconnecting the arc suppression reactor from the network; improving the accuracy and reliability of the compensation results; increasing the stability of the neutral voltage displacement and ensuring the automation sustainability in devices for automatic capacitive earth fault current compensation using the phase or amplitude adjustment principle of the arc suppression reactor.
