SUBSTANCE: invention relates to controlling acquisition of a multimedia data stream by user terminals. Method comprises establishing a network connection with a target camera device, when a preset triggering event is triggered, including obtaining a list of smart devices, when an application for controlling smart devices launched, and determining that preset triggering event is triggered, when target camera device is on list of smart devices, determining state of target camera device. Establishment of a connection also includes sending an instruction for transfer of a multimedia data stream to target camera device over a network connection, when a preview starting event is detected, and obtaining multimedia data stream, transmitted from target camera device, and displaying multimedia data stream in said preview interface.
EFFECT: technical result is possibility of real-time preview, improved efficiency of controlling target camera device and reduced delay of preview operation.
