FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: low-pressure control valve comprises a housing with supply channels of controlled working fluid, supply and discharge of hydraulic fluid. In the valve housing, a valve setting mechanism is installed providing for valve actuation during pressure decreasing of controlled working fluid within the predetermined limits. Inside the valve housing, an extra chamber is mounted consisting of several interacting parts. In the walls of the said chamber, through radial channels are made opening into the cavity of hydraulic fluid inlet and outlet channels and connecting the cavity inside the said chamber with the cavities of the said channels. The chamber contains a plunger, desinged for axial movement, in the form of a coil having a central part with cylindrical shaped protrusions at the ends. On the ledge, located in close proximity to the controlled working fluid inlet channel, a sealing ring is placed which interacts with the sealing edge of the end of the said chamber facing the mentioned channel. With one end, the plunger interacts with the piston mounted in the controlled working fluid channel, and with the other, with the mandrel on which a compression spring is installed. With one end, the spring rests against the mandrel shoulder, and with the other, interacts with the adjusting screw base. In one extreme position of the plunger, the sealing ring interacts with the sealing edge of the said chamber end and divides the cavities of hydraulic fluid inlet and outlet channels and the said chamber. In the other extreme position of the plunger, the said ring is located from the sealing edge of the said chamber end at the distance equal to the maximum plunger stroke. The cavities of hydraulic fluid inlet and outlet channels and the said chamber are interconnected in this extreme position and in any other intermediate position of the plunger.
EFFECT: valve design simplification and improved reliability of its work.
