FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medical equipment and is aimed at composite assembly of source for brachytherapy, set of parts, method of producing composite assembly of source for brachytherapy, use of specific coating and method of brachytherapeutic treatment. Composite assembly of source for brachytherapy comprises push-pull cable and at its distal end it has capsule suitable for brachytherapy. Said capsule comprises chamber for holding one or more radioactive sources, chamber is formed by wall, and at least part of outer surface of capsule wall contains coating containing one or several materials selected from TiN, TiCN, TiCrN, CrN, TiA1CrN, DLC and MοS2. Said capsule is attached to push-pull cable, or said capsule is contained in push-pull cable.
EFFECT: group of inventions enables to obtain high integrity of capsule wall.
