FIELD: aircraft engineering.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a method and a system for automatic aircraft control in case of the crew incapacity. For automatic aircraft control in case of the crew incapacity the crew incapacity is determined by transmitting a message to the cockpit indicator requiring a confirmation by the crew by entering a safety code, a command is sent to control the aircraft for the autopilot in absence of the confirmation from the crew, the aircraft is controlled by means of the autopilot system to the point of landing, before landing the aircraft another message is sent requiring a confirmation by the crew by entering a safety code, determined is a safe zone for the aircraft flight till the fuel depletion, flight is performed within the safe zone till the fuel depletion. Onboard system of the aircraft automatic control comprises a processor, two modules of influence on the processor, two autopilots, an additional module to determine a safe zone, a cockpit indicator, a device for entering the crew confirmation, a manual control commands transducer, an aircraft pressure losses transducer, a machine-readable medium with a built-in machine-readable program code.

EFFECT: provided is the aircraft automatic control in case of the crew incapacity.
