FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: device to increase vehicle flotation, mounted on the wheel side, comprises a disk withdouble sleeves welded on it, a tyre and a profile reinforcement. It is further provided with movable blades mounted on the double axles and conjugated elastic elements which are arranged between the profile reinforcement. Rotation of blades changes the footprint on the ground, with magnitude equal to the distance between axes.
EFFECT: increased vehicle flotation due to the increased area of the wheel support, followed by reduced soil shear.
