SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to deflecting wedge design and methods of addressing male hub in multilateral well. Diverting wedge design consists of upper diverting wedge, located inside the main well shaft, and lower diverting wedge, located inside the main well shaft. Upper diverting wedge has at least one plate with inclined surface, and inclined surface of at least one of the plates make the male hub be orientated towards the first pipe. Lower deflecting wedge determines the first and second pipes, one of the first and second pipes is in contact with the lower part of the main well shaft, and the other of the first and second pipes is in contact with the side well shaft. Upper and lower deflecting wedges are configured for addressing the above male hub either in the side well shaft, or into lower part of the main well shaft depending on the size of male hub tip.
EFFECT: technical result consists in accurate addressing of male hub in multilateral well.
