SUBSTANCE: fibrous structure woven as a single part by 3D braiding, wherein the first weft threads are tied together layers of warp threads at first section (12) of fibrous structure (10) adjacent to empty area (16), as well as layers of warp threads of second section (14) of fibrous structure behind the empty area, and the second weft threads tie together layers of warp threads at second section (14) of the fibrous structure adjacent to the empty area, as well as layers of warp threads of first section (12) of the fibrous structure outside the empty area, so that trajectories of the first and the second weft threads intersect in at least one transition area (18) extending inside the fibrous structure from the end of the empty area, herewith the transition area extends in the weft direction for a distance larger than step (p) between adjacent columns of warp threads.
