FIELD: transport.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway rolling stock external washing devices. Railway rolling stock automated washing unit comprises rail track for rolling stock movement inside unit, modular washing equipment, installed along rail track, equipped with brush mechanisms and water supply means, fresh washing solution preparation and feed modules, as well as rolling stock drying means, water treatment and recirculation unit, connected with washing equipment by pipelines via pumps, as well as control devices. At inlet into unit preliminary rinsing module is arranged, after which are installed in series first detergent solution application module, brush washing module containing brushes section for washing of roof, for lateral sides rinsing and for treatment of rolling stock lower rims, then second detergent solution application module and mobile washing module, made with possibility of washing roof, lateral sides, front and rear parts of rolling stock, as well as cars end sides on intercar space side, after which rinsing module is installed containing brushes section for washing of roof, for lateral sides rinsing and treatment of rolling stock lower rims, then flush reagents application module and drying module are fitted.

EFFECT: enabling higher quality of rolling stock external surface washing with higher efficiency and simplification of technology due to fewer brush sections, as well as with water and energy resources saving.
