FIELD: physics, acoustics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to vibroacoustic metrology. A measuring device comprises a vibration generating means held on a mannequin head. The mannequin head is provided with an artificial ear mimicking a human ear. The device also comprises a vibration detector located in the ear and a microphone. The device is also provided with an artificial eardrum having sensors inside. The mannequin also has an artificial ear canal, wherein the human ear model is made of material such as rubber. The material used for the ear model satisfies IEC 60318-7 or IEC 60268-7 requirements, or is a material having Shore hardness from 30 to 60. The ear model also has an external ear. A device for emitting vibrations and sound is held in the external ear or in the opening of the auditory passage. The ear canal has a length of 5 mm to 40 cm. The artificial ear is configured to be attached or detached from the mannequin head. Attachment is carried out to allow adhesion or fusion to the unit of the artificial ear canal. The ear model and the artificial ear canal are made in form of a single unit made of the same material.
EFFECT: invention provides more detailed and accurate investigation of peculiarities of transmitting sound such as bone conduction and air conduction.
