FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to bionic ear prostheses. The prosthesis is made in the form of a silicone ear, corresponding to the shape of the patient’s auricle. The prosthesis contains a microphone, connecting tape wires for transmitting electrical signals and converted acoustic signals, a power source, a magnetic-vibration bone conduction transducer and a flexible microchip with an analog-to-digital converter, a digital-to-analog converter, a digital signal processor, a radio communication module and a programmable memory device. The power source is located in the silicone earlobe and is connected by connecting wires on one side with a microphone, and on the other side with a hybrid microchip. The microphone is located in the tragus of the silicone ear. The microchip is located in the antitragus of the silicone ear. The microchip is connected to a capacitor, which is located in the helix, by means of a ribbon conductor. The capacitor is connected to a resistor, which is located in Darwin’s hillock. The resistor is connected to a magnetic-vibration bone conduction transducer, which is located in the helical root and is fixed on a sound-conducting implant installed in the patient’s temporal bone.
EFFECT: is achieved the possibility of correction hearing loss with an acoustic aid that works on the principle of bone conduction and is located in the prosthesis of the auricle without forming the auditory passage.
