FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine. Unit with cross-linking elements can comprise support part, tissue thickness compensator and multiple connecting elements placed inside support part and/or tissue thickness compensator. Tissue thickness compensator is located relative to support part. Connecting elements are used for suturing of tissue. When using, unit with cross-linking elements is installed in first branche of surgical suturing device. Second branche or support can be placed opposite to first branche. Staples driving element is moved through unit with cross-linking elements for moving of cross-linking elements to stop. After placing cross-linking elements can capture at least, part of tissue thickness compensator together with at least part of sutured tissue.
EFFECT: staples unit with compressible components resistant to deformation is disclosed.
