FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture, in particular to hand tools for cutting hay. The tool includes the support element with a threaded opening accommodating the screw with the head part and the lever at the free screw end and the operating element at the opposite unthreaded screw end. The support element is configured as a support plate with a circular opening in its geometric center with the possibility of its temporary attachment to the butt of the hay roll. In the supporting element opening a guide tube is positioned, equipped with the thread on the outer and inner surfaces. The tube is fixed with a support nut on the outer side of the base plate. The tube is fixed with a clamping nut on the opposite side of the plate. Elastic rod elements made with the possibility of placing their free ends into the screw thread grooves are cantilevered to the clamping nut. The working element is configured in the form of knives with blades made with the slope from the screw axis and sharpened to the base plate.

EFFECT: invention provides increased work efficiency and reduced costs of physical force in the hay roll separation.
