FIELD: transportation; aviation.
SUBSTANCE: method to weaken shock-induced separation under shockwave boundary layer interaction on a streamlined surface includes blowing of jets of round transverse shape from the streamlined surface prior to shockwave at the angle of 30°-60° to the streamlined surface and at the angle of 30°-60° to direction of the flow in the streamlined surface.
EFFECT: reduced aerodynamic resistance.
