SUBSTANCE: invention relates to computer engineering. The imaging decoding apparatus comprises an entropy decoder which extracts information, indicating an intra-frame prediction mode applied to a current block to be decoded; a reference pixel determining module, which determines one of adjacent pixels adjacent to the current block, and filtered adjacent pixels, filtered from said adjacent pixels, as reference pixels based on at least one of a size of the current block and intra-frame prediction mode of the current block; an intra-frame prediction module, which performs intra-frame prediction with respect to the current block using the intra-frame prediction mode and said determined reference pixels, wherein when the current block has a size of N×N, where N is an integer, said adjacent pixels include 2N adjacent pixels, adjacent to the upper side and the upper right side of the current block, and 2N adjacent pixels adjacent to the left side and the lower left side of the current block; the image is broken down into a plurality of maximum coding units according to information on the maximum size of the coding unit.
EFFECT: invention improves decoding efficiency.
