FIELD: communication.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to communication. For this purpose, a transmitter includes a power amplifier, phase modulator, DC-DC converter with mode switching, each of which operates in two modes, and a controller. Power amplifier is configured for selective operation in either first mode, or in second mode, wherein first mode is a linear mode, and second mode is a nonlinear mode, to provide energy saving with minimum increase in costs on hardware. Transmitter is configured to operate with different frequency bands, and using different radio communication standards along with minimum power consumption, controlled by controller.

EFFECT: technical result is efficiency of radio transmission and control of radio transmission.
