FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to machine building and may be used for milling of parts of complex spatial forms. The method includes the line-spherical milling cutter rotating the workpiece on the multi-axis CNC processing centre. There is a mutual relative movement of the rotating workpiece and the working part of the rotary milling tool with the specified line direction, feed rate and cutting along the line width A continuous reciprocating cyclic movement of the workpiece along its longitudinal axis by a distance equal to the predetermined cutting width of 0.5-1.2, at a speed exceeding a predetermined speed along the feed line is not less than 1.5 times is produced. The design of processing centre for carrying out of the method is shown.
EFFECT: invention provides a reduction in the variability of roughness values in the directions of the milled surface.
