FIELD: wood-working industry.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to woodworking, particularly to machining of asymmetric billets. Device includes two straight guides (1, 2) parallel to axis (3) of centers of the machine, and billet gripping devices (4a, 4c) having inner ring (7) arranged in outer casing (5). Inner casing is made with possibility of rotation around the axis of machine tool centers. External housing is connected with linear displacement drive by rod (6a, 6c) and is mounted on two straight-line guides with the possibility to move along the guides in longitudinal direction. Inner casing is equipped with side circular guides (8) and comprises drive supply unit (7a). Radial clamps (9) have clamping heads (10) that project inside the casing and configured to move in radial grips by means of hydraulic cylinder drive (9a). Pressure force of clamping heads on side surface of workpiece is controlled by sensors (11).

EFFECT: higher efficiency.
