SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fodder production, in particular, to a biologically active fodder additive for cattle based on lecithin from sunflower and medicinal plant containing phenolic substances. Sunflower lecithin is used as lecithin, and rowanberry - as the medicinal plant containing phenolic substances. The biologically active additive is introduced to cow fodder by its addition to mixed feed at the rate of 10 g of lecithin and 5 g of rowanberry per 100 g of cow live weight once a day during 2 months.

EFFECT: invention usage will allow for the regulation of metabolism processes, improve viability and productivity of animals.
