SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a drill bit with modular cutters. Bit with modular cutters has a module and a modular component. Modular cutters of the drill bit include a module, which serves as a female die, and a modular component. Number of modules arranged on the bit with modular cutters is not less than 1. Bit types are selected from a group including: a PDC bit, a diamond bit, an impregnated bit, a roller bit, a cone rock bit and a bit with inserts containing at least two elements selected from a group consisting of a PDC bit, an impregnated bit, a roller bit and a cone rock bit. Bit housing material is selected from a group consisting of a sintered article from tungsten carbide and an alloy of steel, sintered carbide and a composite material with a metal matrix. Number of modular components equals to 2, cross-section shapes of the module and the modular component represent circles, the module diameter represents d. There are two modular components designed, diameters of the first modular component and the second modular component represent, respectively, d₁ and d₂. Distance between centers along axis Y from the first modular component to the second modular component has value h₁, wherein $$\text{0}\le {\text{h}}_{\text{1}}\le \frac{{\text{d}}_{\text{1}}+{\text{d}}_{\text{2}}}{\text{2}}$$.

EFFECT: technical result is the increase of effective volume of the cutting element wear and providing controlled specific pressure for drilling.
