FIELD: well drilling.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to borehole drilling bit. Bit comprises a body and a cutting surface. Cutting surface comprises blade extending from body and row of cutters. Each cutter comprises a support part mounted in a socket made adjacent to the blade front edge, and cutting plate made of superhard material, mounted on support part and having working surface. First subgroup of the row of cutters is oriented at negative lateral front angle, the second subgroup of the row of cutters is oriented at zero lateral front angle. First and second subgroups alternate with each other, closest to central axis cutter of first subgroup has maximum absolute value of negative side front angle, absolute value of each of negative side front angles of other cutters decreases with increase of distance from them to the center of cutting surface. Said maximum absolute value of the negative side front angle is in range of 10 to 30 degrees. Said cutter closest to central axis is located in conical section of cutting surface.
EFFECT: providing the bit stability, reducing vibration, reducing the load on the bit during drilling.
