The conveyor comprises a feed branch (22) of the chain along the working branch (24) and a return branch (26) of the chain along an empty branch (28). The first and second axes (14, 18) of rotation are arranged vertically, and the working branch (24) and the empty branch (28) of the chain conveyor (20) are arranged in the horizontal plane. The transport path (30) comprises a tread (42) of a wheel rim made in the form of protective rollers (76).
