FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: cartridge consists of a case with a cap primer fixed in the cap bottom, a missile charge and a naked bullet. In the bullet head, a cruciform recess is formed by the intersection in the plane perpendicular to the bullet longitudinal axis of two wedge slots 90° to each other, and the bullet longitudinal axis coincides with the intersection line of symmetry planes of the wedge slot surfaces. In this case, the cruciform recess is designed with depth (0.18-0.27) d, where d is the cartridge caliber, and the angle between the opposite walls of each wedge slot is 45-55°.
EFFECT: fire pin-point accuracy, simplified geometry process of easily deformed bullet head, and bullet integrity maintainance in soft tissues, thereby increasing hunting effectiveness.
