FIELD: cartridges with deformed bullets. SUBSTANCE: cartridge includes case with capsule and propelling charge and shell-free expansive bullet with dummy axial space in head part. Diameter of inlet hole of space amounts to 0.45-0.67 maximum diameter of bullet. Generatrix of space may present curve bent inside space. Curvature of generatrix diminished with movement away from inlet hole of space. Inclination angles of tangent lines to generatrix of space change from 23-35 deg (at distance 0.35 maximum diameter of bullet from its vertex) to 2-5 deg (at base of spacer). Bullet at distance exceeding 0.35 maximum diameter of bullet from its vertex has combination of curvilinear generatrix of surfaces of space walls bent inside space with generatrix of surface of head part in the form of straight line or curve with radius exceeding five maximum diameters of bullet.
