FIELD: navigation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of navigation using satellite radio navigation systems (SRNS) and can be used for determining coordinates of navigation satellites. For this purpose in the method of determining coordinates of navigation satellites in a group of four navigation satellites within the zone of direct visibility consisting of the first pair of navigation satellites located at the same orbit and the second pair of navigation satellites located at another orbit there are simultaneous measurements of linear distances between all four satellites of the group, transmission from each satellite to each and receiving by each satellite from each results of the measurements of linear distances between all four satellites of the group, as well as calculating at each satellite the spherical distance between it and the point of the orbits intersection, as per which determined are coordinates of the given satellite.
EFFECT: technical result is determining accuracy of navigation satellites coordinates.
