FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to plain thrust bearing, in particular to plain thrust bearing, intended for use as sliding bearing for post-type suspension (Mcpherson suspension) in four-wheel vehicle and to combined device of plain thrust bearing and piston rod. Plain thrust bearing (1) comprises body (2) of synthetic resin with ring-shaped upper surface (5), acting as sliding surface, ring-shaped metal plate (4) resting on ring-shaped upper surface (5) with possibility of free rotation about body (2) in circumferential direction (R) around central axis (O), and circular cover (3) covering ring-shaped upper surface (5) and metal plate (4). Ring-shaped metal plate (4) has inner disk part made in form of single unit with outer disc part (43) and located in through hole (25) of circular cover (3). Inner disc part also acts as reinforcing element (ribs) of outer disc part.
EFFECT: technical result: light thrust bearing of small height preventing deformation of ring-shaped metal plate and reducing noise generated at relative rotation of piston rod even at high force applied to metal plate through piston rod, as well as preventing penetration of foreign substances from outside, such as gravel and dust, on sliding surface and reducing number of components.
