FIELD: physics, control and alarm system.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for moving vessel control. To control a moving vessel, coordinates of the two most widely separated points are determined continuously within the vessel contour, one point is located at the bow and the other is at the stern, lateral and longitudinal deviations from the predetermined axis are determined, control signals are developed for individual elements or the entire propulsion and steering system based on the determined law, position and orientation of the selected coordinate system is changed, considering the features of vessel maneuvering during performance of a particular key operation, the possibility of maneuvering is predicted based on the vessel mathematical model considering its dynamic properties, influence of external factors, technical parameters of the propulsion and steering system, energy efficiency and safety requirements for key operations, decisions are made on the further vessel control or maneuvering termination.
EFFECT: invention provides safety and energy efficiency of key onboard operations.
