FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: in method for sealing a dismountable connection, comprising installing the sealing element in the form of a metal ring between the dismountable connection parts, followed by force application thereto until its deformation, the metal ring is mounted into the annular seating groove, which is previously performed on one part of the dismountable connection, and the other part is placed into the metal ring, wherein forming the force of at least 100 N / m, which is applied to its free butt, and compressing around the perimeter the free butt of the dismountable connection part placed in the metal ring is carried out simultaneously. In the airtight dismountable connection comprising the annular sealing element installed in the joint cavity in the annular groove made in one of the dismountable connection parts. The other part is placed in the annular sealing element, the annular sealing element is made of lead and coated with a protective copper layer. Moreover, the dismountable connection part placed in the metal ring is mounted partially entering the annular groove of the other connection part, additionally comprises a loading device of the sealing metal ring, formed with a cylindrical surface and a circular flange, in which openings for compressing and tightening elements are formed; for the latters, response openings on one of the dismountable connection parts are made; the device comprises a recess for forming the annular pressing surface coaxial to the sealing metal ring, whose size corresponds to the size of the sealing metal ring butt, wherein the pressing surface is formed with a projection, in the longitudional section representing an isosceles triangle facing its vertex to the butt middle.
EFFECT: invention allows the possibility of its use within the housing and for sealing optical elements, the airtight dismountable connection improves the airtight connection reliability due to preserving the properties of the annular sealing element during thermal cycling.
