SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of main collapsible pipelines from pipes with socket joints and can be used at their laying at sections of underwater passages through water bodies. Underwater transition of collapsible pipeline from pipes with socket joints contains in-series connected pipes, connecting units, traction cable, suspensions fixed on each pipe and on pulling cable, weights, each of which is rigidly connected to each suspension lower surface, head fixed by means of flared connection with front end of first of mounted pipes in direction of their pulling through water body, as well as a winch installed on the opposite bank of the water body, wherein each connecting unit is provided with turning mechanisms.
EFFECT: ruled out spontaneous uncoupling of pipes, uniform application of force to every pipe, ruled out breakage of haulage cable.
