FIELD: fire safety.

SUBSTANCE: inventive method and device may be used for supplying fire extinguishing agent from a fire extinguisher to combustion zone. Method of fire extinguisher activation when configuring the temperature sensor in its heating area directly from the initial fire. Additional coating layer which has a maximum absorption coefficient of radiant energy for this type of coating is provided on the outer surface of the temperature sensor. Volume inside heat-sensitive element is filled with intumescent material. When thermal effect is provided on temperature sensor from the initial fire, directed flow of heat rays focused from a concave spherical mirror device to the appropriate heating zone is formed. For realization of the method, the fire extinguisher activation device is used. The outer surface of temperature sensor is coloured with additional coating layer which has a maximum absorption coefficient of radiant energy. Expandable material is made in the form of intumescent material. A cup is formed as a concave spherical mirror device, for example a concave hemisphere facing towards the said zone.

EFFECT: increased efficiency of this method.
