FIELD: packaging industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an airtight package (1, 100, 110) for food products (P), such as confectionery products, e. g. sweets or ice cream briquettes, preferably having the substantially cuboid shape and comprising the flowpack packaging (2) in which the flow-pack packaging (2) is closed on the two opposite butts (5, 6) by butt junctions (3, 4) and the vertical seam (7) extending in the longitudinal direction of the package (1, 100, 110) between the two butt junctions (3, 4), wherein the vertical seam (7) is located at the lateral side (8) of the package (1, 100, 110) in which the vertical seam (7) has an auxiliary means (9) for opening and in which the auxiliary means (9) enters the rupture line (11), which diagonally intersects at least one of the following walls: the front or the rear wall (F, R) of the package (1, 100, 110).
EFFECT: increasing the package airtightness.
