FIELD: tobacco industry.
SUBSTANCE: method for manufacture of cigarette packages with an outer package in the form of a box with a flap lid and an inner package in the form of a sealing element with an inner piece enclosing the package contents and made of thermally welded film impenetrable for either odour or moisture that, in the inner butt-end wall area, has a reusable opening device while in the inner package wide walls area there are folding flanges connected by way of thermal welding. The package contents are delivered through the inner piece maintained in the ready position with the contents partly wrapped into the inner piece. The folding flanges are connected to each other through thermal welding in the inner piece inner rear wall area so that to form a fin seam. The end zone of the fin seam are folded within the inner side walls plane so that within the inner side walls plane they are positioned at a distance from the zones of the folding flanges that repeatedly overlap each other. The package contents are delivered through the inner piece into the pocket of the revolver folding mechanism. The folding flanges are joined together into a fin seam in the revolver folding mechanism in several thermal welding sections, positioned along the revolver folding mechanism contour and following each other, during the stop phase of the revolver folding mechanism that is actuated stepwise.
EFFECT: group of invention ensures absence of cigarette compression during folding and welding.
