METHOD FOR PRODUCING HOLLOW LANDSCAPE DECORATIVE ITEMS Russian patent published in 2017 - IPC B28B11/00 B44F7/00

Abstract RU 2616020 C2

FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: method of manufacturing hollow decorative landscaping products in stages by means of forming a multilayer template by making a cast frame and the carcass of the simulated natural object. The mould is produced by applying at least 6 layers of silicone with a hardener onto the simulated object in the ratio of 1 kg per 30 g; each layer must be dried for at least 12 hours at the temperature of 18-25°C until the next layer is applied. After all layers are fully dry, the mould is carefully taken off the natural object. The carcass is made in accordance with the silicone mould from fiberglass by means of sequential application of several layers onto the simulated natural object, the first of which is a mixture of polyester resin and hardener in the ratio of 1 litre to 20 g. Then the second layer of the glass mat emulsion is immediately applied followed by a mixture of polyester resin and a hardener, taken in the same ratio as the first layer (1 litre to 20 g). The resulting carcass is dried at 18-25C° for at least 12 hours. After drying, the carcass is carefully removed from the simulated natural object, and the dried silicone mould is placed inside. The first layer of the composition of polyester resin, pigment, thickener and hardener is then applied to the inner surface; the ratio of components in the mixture depends on the size of the made hollow landscaping product . After that this layer is immediately coated on top with marble granite chips, with the minimum fraction of 0.63-0.2 mm. The resulting multilayer matrix is then placed in the drying chamber for drying, and dried at a temperature of 25-35°C for at least two hours. After the drying is complete, the second layer of the same composition is applied in the amount determined by dimensions of the manufactured product. The glass mat emulsion of at least 12 m in size is then added to the second layer, which is then impregnated by the third layer of the polyether resin mixed with the hardener in the ratio of 1 litre per 20 g. The article is then placed in the oven again to be dried at the temperature of 25-35°C for at least 1 hour. Then the final finishing layer of polyester resin is applied mixed with the hardener in the ratio of 1 litre per 20 g, to which the pigment is added in an amount determined by the dimensions of the manufactured article to obtain the consistency of paint. Then the product is placed in an oven to dry at a temperature of 25-35°C for 30 minutes. Full inspection of each layer of 0.01-0.02 mm thickness is then performed. The carcass is then carefully removed, and the silicone impression of the finished landscape product is taken out; all the excess, if any, is cleaned off, and the impregnation substance is applied onto the outer surface in accordance with the simulated natural object.

EFFECT: improved quality, better similarity and a better decorative effect of landscape products, production standardization and cost reduction.
